6—7 November 2012, Dubai, United Arab Emirates

In 2011, the first Arab Renewable Energy Congress proved to be one of the most high profile meetings the region had seen. Opened by HRH Prince Asem bin Nayef, H.E. Adnan Badran (former Prime Minister of Jordan) and the Ministers of Energy, Environment and Public Works & Housing, the congress was screened on national television and welcomed over 250 government representatives, company CEOs and leading renewable energy experts.

Having spurred real development in the region through government to business and business to business relations, the 2012 meeting moves to Dubai, a nation that has made significant strides in pushing their renewable energy industry forward in the past 6 months.
