{"id":5950,"date":"2022-03-07T06:16:31","date_gmt":"2022-03-07T06:16:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arec.org.jo\/?p=5950"},"modified":"2022-03-07T06:16:32","modified_gmt":"2022-03-07T06:16:32","slug":"arab-renewable-energy-commission-polish-delegation-discuss-cooperation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arec.org.jo\/en\/2022\/03\/07\/arab-renewable-energy-commission-polish-delegation-discuss-cooperation\/","title":{"rendered":"Arab Renewable Energy Commission, Polish delegation discuss cooperation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>AMMAN \u2014 The Arab Renewable Energy Commission (AREC) and a Polish delegation discussed renewable energy cooperation in areas such as smart cities, smart grid technologies and electric cars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At a meeting between AREC Secretary General Muhammad Al Taani and Polish Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Pawel Jablonski, the two sides worked to set a roadmap towards practical and scientific improvements, notably enhancing ooperation between Poland and Jordan\u2019s renewable energy companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to an AREC statement, cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, on Thursday, Taani said that the two sides agreed to hold a renewable energy conference in April of next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The conference will be hosted by Poland and attended by representatives from several Arab countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was also agreed to launch joint heating and cooling projects using solar energy, as well as other projects related to storing energy in the Kingdom, he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Head of the Poland delegation lauded the Kingdom\u2019s \u201ckey\u201d regional role in sustainable development, a green economy, environmental protection and climate change reduction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">He highlighted the importance of partnerships with Amman in various domains.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AMMAN \u2014 The Arab Renewable Energy Commission (AREC) and a Polish delegation discussed renewable energy cooperation in areas such as smart cities, smart grid technologies and electric cars.
